The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Kalgoorlie team. In this full-time role, you will work on the service and repair of radiators, oil coolers, charge air coolers, and other associated products. On-the-job training will be provided as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repairs of radiators, including rebuild and bolt-up.
  • Training fellow workers as required.
  • Stripping, washing, and testing radiators and cooling components.
  • Preparation of radiator tubes before installation.
  • Use of hand tools, such as grinders, spray painting equipment, and other tools and machinery.
  • Manual handling.
  • Housekeeping duties to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Additional duties may include painting, stripping, assembly, pressure testing, and soldering.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

  • Mechanical aptitude and/or experience in a similar role.
  • A High Risk Work License – Forklift and Dogging (Dogging training can be provided).
  • Mechanical and/or radiator knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience with Tig and Mig welding on steel and aluminum repairs (preferred but not essential).
  • Previous experience working in mining/manufacturing industry (preferred).
