About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our team at the Country Fire Authority (CFA). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our CFA networks and datacentre infrastructure, ensuring alignment with technical procedures and business requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert advice and solutions on CFA networks and datacentre infrastructure in line with service level agreements.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices and unified communications.
  • Conducting preventative and ongoing systems management for network devices.
  • Conducting research on newly adopted technologies which CFA might utilise.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to support business requirements.
  • Being part of the afterhours support roster group to support the core ICT business services.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Relevant industry certifications or experience in similar roles within large and complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various LAN technologies such as structured building cabling, fibre, and wireless technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL-based change management methodologies.
