This position will involve coordinating and facilitating our Indigenous community engagement and relationship management initiatives, including active and future projects. You will work closely with our operational and functional services leadership to develop and implement strategies that foster and strengthen relationships with Indigenous Peoples, communities, and businesses.

You will be expected to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Experience building partnerships and working with Indigenous businesses, community members, governments, and organizations is essential.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive relationships between Stantec and Indigenous communities in the BC region.
  • Coordinate and facilitate our Indigenous community engagement and relationship management initiatives, including active and future projects.
  • Work closely with operational and functional services leadership to develop and implement strategies that foster and strengthen relationships with Indigenous Peoples, communities, and businesses.
  • Act as a central coordination point for the navigation of relationships and partnerships between Stantec and Indigenous communities and businesses.

A 4-year university degree with 8 years' related experience or technical diploma/certification with extensive years of related work experience is required.
