We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at AWX Pty Ltd. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, operating cement mix machinery, and safely using a forklift to transport green cement and packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cement mix machinery to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Safely use a forklift to transport green cement and packaging materials throughout the production area.
  • Lead and oversee a team of pick packers to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Perform pick packing duties as needed, including selecting, packing, and labeling.
  • Assist in loading and unloading shipments of cement or other raw materials.
  • Support maintenance tasks on roasting equipment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Production Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid forklift license and demonstrated proficiency in safe forklift operations.
  • Previous experience in pick packing and leading a team of pick packers is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
