Experience is sought for a skilled Technician to handle the maintenance and repair of Low Voltage Switchgear systems.

  • Responsibilities include executing LV ACB upgrades and retrofits, testing and commissioning LV switchboards, MCCs, and ACBs, as well as performing CB timing tests, primary injection, and secondary injection protection testing.
  • Modifications to existing LV systems must be made to meet current standards.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills are required.

Strong analytical and fault-finding skills are necessary for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Omicron test equipment and a good understanding of protection principles and LV systems.

About You
  • A valid Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence is required.
  • Proven experience in LV switchgear, ACBs, MCCs, and protection testing is essential.
  • Willingness to travel for site work is also required.
