Cleanliness Specialist

The Cleanliness Specialist - Environmental Services is an essential role at Southern Health-Santé Sud, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our facilities.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleanliness Specialist. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities remain clean, safe, and healthy environments for patients, staff, and visitors.

As a Cleanliness Specialist, your primary duties will include general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch areas. You will also be responsible for restocking supplies, responding to spills and accidents, and reporting any maintenance or equipment issues.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will exercise initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods. This may involve problem-solving, communicating with colleagues, and adapting to changing circumstances.

To be successful in this role, you will require strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in industrial and/or commercial housekeeping is highly desirable, as is proficiency in both official languages (English and French).
