Psychotherapist Position

As a casual psychotherapist in our residential program, you will provide generalist counseling services to clients. The primary goal of this position is to deliver high-quality care and support individuals in achieving their recovery goals.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Implement interventions to motivate clients towards positive change, incorporating harm minimization and relapse prevention strategies.
• Identify and address significant risk factors or client deterioration, developing appropriate management plans.

• You hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Psychology, Social Work) and registration with the relevant regulatory bodies.
• You possess a high level of knowledge and application of theoretical frameworks, national guidelines, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• You have a sound understanding of professional, ethical, and legal requirements underpinning treatment and clinical management of mental health issues.
