Finance & Accounting Professional Needed

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting expert with a strong background in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and statutory reporting to join our organization during a critical period of transformation.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your skills will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our business while delivering tangible value.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the month-end close process, financial reporting, and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) standards.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, TM1, or advanced Excel.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal controls to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Contribute to digital transformation and automation projects within the finance department.
  • Support the preparation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reports as required.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in a Finance and Accounting role within a corporate or commercial setting.
  • Strong expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and business intelligence tool usage.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting or automation tools is desirable.
  • Willingsness to work in Melbourne, Australia on a hybrid setup.
