Job Title: Transportation Operations Coordinator

Team Global Express is a leading transport and logistics company that connects people, communities, and businesses across Australia and New Zealand.

We are currently seeking a qualified Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods between customers and depots.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight. You will also possess a current HR licence and have experience with radio communications systems and load restraint equipment.

In this role, you will work closely with our drivers and other team members to ensure seamless transportation operations. You will also be responsible for managing consignment paperwork and manifests, packaging freight securely, and adhering to scanning and proof of delivery procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Current HR licence and driving experience
  • Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight
  • Experience with radio communications systems and load restraint equipment
