Business Insights Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Insights Specialist to join our organisation in Sydney. As a Business Insights Specialist, you will play a key role in helping teams best utilise and understand their data.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building and implementing operational reporting, analytics and tactical solutions that support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a fixed-term/secondment role with strong business analytics skills and experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and implement operational reporting, analytics and tactical solutions
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI or equivalent tools
  • Analyse large datasets to provide insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions

Requirements:

  • Strong business analytics skills and experience
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or SAS
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products including Power Platform, VBA and Excel
  • Ability to work across multiple data environments
