Full Time Nanny Wanted for Two Children

A family in Sydney is seeking a nanny for their two children, aged 3 and 13 months.

The normal days are Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The nanny will be responsible for preparing afternoon snacks and engaging the child in age appropriate activities from 2pm to 6.30pm. From 6.30pm when Mum arrives home, the nanny will help with the bed / bath routine and tidying up before leaving at 8pm.

The carer's responsibilities for this role will include following the children's routine, playing and engaging in age appropriate activities to assist in the children's development, general tidying up after the children and light household chores.

The ideal nanny would be nurturing, caring, warm and reliable, with a passion to encourage children to learn and engage in fun activities. A full drivers license is required and the use of a medium sized SUV will be provided when driving with the children.

The family's expectations from their nanny are as follows:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a nanny or working in childcare
  • A childcare qualification is preferred but not essential if the nanny has many years of experience
  • To be able to swim, as the family have a swimming pool
  • Have a current first aid certificate
  • Have a current Working With Children's Check
  • Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is a bonus but not a necessity
