Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of Brake Systems, Hydraulic Power Systems, Landing Gear Actuation Systems, and Landing Gear Steering Systems requirements against new program attributes.
  • Assess these requirements against airplane and system level changes to determine whether they should be classified as changed/affected or unchanged.
  • Perform Systems-level Decomposition, Verification, and Validation per Design Assurance Level A.
  • Classify requirements against program-level guidance as functional or non-functional.
  • Evaluate requirements against systems safety analysis and program-level guidance to determine if they are safety applicable or non-applicable.
  • Determine verification methods for any changed/affected requirements.
  • Update relevant attributes within DOORS and review results with technical teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with mechanical-hydraulic systems, including actuators, pumps, landing gear, and brake systems.
  • Experience working with commercial aircraft systems.
  • Knowledge of ARP 4754 standards.
  • Experience with control systems.
  • Familiarity with robotics methods.
  • Mechanical manipulation skills.
  • Experience with systems verification and validation.
