Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and delivery of ingredients and packaging requirements for our production plan.

• Create and maintain vendor schedules for packaging and ingredient suppliers in line with site Material Requirement Planning (MRP) procedures.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and supplier delivery performance targets are met.
• Place orders or issue Vendor Schedules for all inventory items and non stock items.
• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and inform Production Planner of any expected delays.
• Record the receipt of goods in PRMS system.
• Create WROs and track cross-docking inventory to warehouses.
• Provide projections to suppliers for key raw and packaging materials upon request.
• Review and approve supplier invoices for payment.
• Maintain supplier records including order quantities, lead times and safety stock.
• Amend or advise of changes required to Bills of Material (BOM), adjusting effective dates for use of imported or varying grades of WIP and packaging.
• Notify supplier of any rejected goods, coordinating collection and credit back to business.
• Measure, analyze and report Supplier Delivery Performance (SDP) including quality, quantity and timeliness of delivery.
