Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Seafood Chefs & Cooks to join our team at a busy seafood restaurant in Caloundra. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a diverse range of creative seafood menu items to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook seafood dishes to a high standard
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient service
• Provide supervisory support to the Head Chef during peak periods
• Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
• Contribute to the development of new menu items and menu boards
• Assist with kitchen budgeting and inventory management

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef or Cook in a busy commercial kitchen
• Proven skills in preparation and cooking of seafood
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Formal qualifications to AQF or equivalent standards
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
