We are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team on a large-scale civil infrastructure project in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a high-profile project with a competitive daily rate.

Job Overview
  • Assist in the administration of contracts, variations, and claims, ensuring seamless project execution
  • Support procurement activities, including preparing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers to meet project requirements
  • Manage subcontractor agreements and ensure compliance with contract terms, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Help with cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management to inform business decisions
  • Provide support on commercial and contractual matters, offering expert advice to internal teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution, ensuring effective communication and coordination
  • Develop and implement effective contract administration strategies to mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
  • Analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions, driving growth and improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and enhance project delivery
Requirements:
  • Some experience in contracts administration and procurement, preferably in civil infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of success
  • Exposure to tunnelling projects is beneficial but not essential, as we are looking for a versatile and adaptable professional
  • Strong understanding of contract management and procurement processes, with the ability to navigate complex projects
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
