Job Title

Civil Structural Design Engineers lead and innovate across brownfield and asset maintenance projects within fuel terminals and petrochemical sectors.

As a member of the team, you will work with engineers and designers to provide safe, reliable, and efficient technical expertise to the business.

This hybrid role is based in a Brisbane office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality civil and structural engineering design deliverables that meet project and business needs.
  • Design tanks and tank foundations to API650 standards.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges using thorough technical analyses and applicable codes and standards.
  • Utilize software tools like Spacegass, Robot, 12D, and Civil 3D for design and analysis tasks.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

About You:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • 6+ years of experience in resource, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
  • Expertise in piling foundations, piled tank foundations, bulk storage tank design, and general structures & foundations.
