We have an opportunity for a Full-time Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team in Ballarat. You will be working in a large medical centre within a supportive dynamic team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide, maintain and continually develop an efficient imaging service, ensuring that patient care is optimised.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing imaging procedures
  • Maintain and continuously develop your imaging skills, adhering to industry standards and best practices
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our diagnostic imaging service

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in Medical Imaging Technology, with a strong understanding of imaging modalities and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Able to maintain accurate records, adhere to infection control procedures and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Current Australian Institute of Radiography Statement of Accreditation or equivalent qualification recognised within Australia
  • AHPRA Registration and VIC EPA license
