Teaching Opportunity at St Fiacre's Catholic Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PDHPE Teacher to join our team at St Fiacre's Catholic Primary School in Leichhardt. As a PDHPE Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging and rigorous planned learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students. You will demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-quality PDHPE programs that promote student engagement and academic achievement
  • Utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress and inform teaching practices
  • Employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • Support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • Integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Education
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead
