About the Job

We are seeking a talented musician to join our team as a member of the New South Wales Police Band, Public Affairs Branch. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about music and community engagement.

The successful candidate will contribute to the positive promotion of the New South Wales Police Force through community performances as a musician in the NSW Police Band (a Wind Orchestra) and its various ensembles.

This role attracts an allowance for doubling on a second musical instrument as well as a weekly laundry allowance.

About the Role

  • To perform as a musician in the NSW Police Band (a Wind Orchestra) and its various ensembles;
  • To contribute to the positive promotion of the New South Wales Police Force through community engagements;
  • To maintain high standards of professionalism and punctuality.

Key Requirements

  • Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand citizen;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Punctual and well-groomed at all times.
