We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in the water infrastructure sector. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects valued between $500k and $10M.
About the Role:
- You will assist in planning and design, ensuring feasibility, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- You will review engineering drawings for practicality and constructability, working closely with design teams and site staff.
- You will coordinate between design, procurement, fabrication, and site teams, ensuring seamless project execution.
- You will support cost, schedule, and risk tracking for live projects, providing technical expertise as needed.
- You will conduct technical reviews and manage QA documentation, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to track procurement and installation timelines.
- You will ensure regulatory, quality, and OH&S compliance across project phases, providing on-site support during construction and commissioning phases.
About You:
- You hold a degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
- You have minimum 2 years' experience in a similar engineering role, ideally within water or wastewater infrastructure.
- You possess a strong grasp of engineering drawings, fabrication standards, and site coordination.
- You are comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- You have knowledge of 3D modelling tools (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks) which is highly advantageous.
- You excel in communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
