We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in safeguarding the bank's customers and the communities we serve from financial crime.

As a member of our Group Financial Crime Risk Department, you'll be working closely with our Financial Crime and Technology teams to develop strategies for detecting and preventing fraud. You'll review and improve existing approaches to data-based fraud prevention and design/implement new ways to detect and prevent financial crime.

- Working collaboratively to support a strategic uplift in the development of financial crime detection and prevention strategies.
- Analysing, detecting and preventing financial crime and key financial crime threats.
- Engaging stakeholders across the value chain to gain endorsement for solutions that benefit customers and maximise benefits for them.

Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, with a proven track record of mining complex data sets to identify trends and patterns. They'll also possess strong communication skills, the ability to articulate technical requirements in meaningful ways, and a passion for growing their own and the team's analytical capability.

While not essential, it would be great if our candidate had experience in Financial Services, ideally in Financial Crime fraud and scams or internal investigations. A degree in a STEM field would also be beneficial.
