Stablehand Assistant Ballarat Job Description

Job Title: We are currently seeking a full-time Stablehand Assistant to join our morning crew located at our Ballarat stables.

At our leading Thoroughbred Racing Stable with state-of-the-art facilities, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your main duties will include:

  • Mucking out boxes and yards to a high standard
  • Refilling boxes with new sawdust
  • Maintaining and cleaning all areas of the facility

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Horse handling experience would be looked upon favourably
  • Able to work Monday to Saturday (5:00am – 12:00pm) with Sundays worked on a one in three roster
