Key Roles and Responsibilities

Laundering uniforms and PPE is a critical task in maintaining hygiene standards. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for washing all uniforms and personal protective equipment in the designated facility.

You will also use a forklift to deliver laundry and waste to relevant areas, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

A key aspect of this role is following new waste separation and disposal procedures to minimize environmental impact.

In addition, you will inspect uniforms for repairs and prevent damaged items from reaching production.

Maintaining delivery schedules to meet production needs is essential, as is upholding safety and hygiene standards according to QA guidelines.

Requirements
  • Holding a valid forklift ticket is mandatory for this position.
  • Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail and maintain cleanliness throughout their workday.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) are necessary for collaboration with colleagues.
  • Resilience under pressure is also crucial for success in this role.
  • Vaccination against Q Fever is required or willingness to be vaccinated.
