Manage and maintain the integration platform to support data exchange across various education systems.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange between applications and services used by the Department of Education.
- Install, configure, and manage ESB components.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and access controls.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy integrated applications.
- Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with industry updates and best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience as an Integration Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of integration platforms, ESB, and API management.
- Familiarity with SOA design principles and middleware technologies.
- Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Integration certifications (e.g., Certified Integration Architect) preferred.
- Experience working in government or education sectors.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
