Role Overview
As a Clinical Psychologist at Advanced Personnel Management, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments (e.g., ASD, ADHD, cognitive assessments).
- Delivering evidence-based therapy interventions and resources to support individual and family goals.
- Offering guidance to parents, educators, and allied health professionals on effective interventions for cognitive, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Monitoring and reviewing progress with clients and families, celebrating achievements, and setting new goals.
- Preparing detailed professional reports for funding bodies to demonstrate your impactful work.
- Engaging in continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and unrestricted registration with the relevant professional body.
- Experience in mental health, cognitive, and functional assessments.
- Proven expertise in child and family counselling, with knowledge of therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and parents.
- Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and First Aid Training.
