Make a Difference in Children's Lives

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team at the Parabanks Op Shop in Salisbury, South Australia. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work towards a cause that you can be proud of, while also gaining valuable retail experience.

The role involves assisting with various tasks such as dressing shop windows, helping and chatting with customers, sorting through stock, and operating the cash register. We will provide all necessary training, including how to use the register.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Assisting with visual merchandising
  • Sorting and processing donations
  • Operating the cash register

You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to improving the health and well-being of children in Australia and around the world. Your contributions will make a real difference in the lives of millions of children, now and in the future.

Requirements for this position include being punctual, reliable, and honest, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. You should be friendly and welcoming, able to handle money, and happy to be part of a team.

Additional requirements include obtaining a National Police Certificate and a Working with Children Check.

This is a voluntary position, with no payment or benefits. However, you will receive an employee discount and Centrelink-approved hours.

Shifts available include afternoon, day, weekend, and morning shifts, as well as shift work and flexible scheduling.
