You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and leading a maintenance team across the Carbon department
  • Ensuring site safety and operational standards are adhered to within your team
  • Maintaining a safe work environment for your team
  • Reporting safety incidents, near misses and quality issues
  • Conducting daily Shift Start Meeting
  • Monitoring, understanding, reporting, and recording operational KPI's for your team
  • Liaising with Operations and Asset Management teams to work through operational issues in a timely manner and escalating when required
  • Ensuring a high quality of maintenance work on assets

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • A proven record of delivering outstanding safety performance
  • Demonstrate proactive and positive leadership skills that result in an effective, engaged team
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence, and build credibility and trust across all levels of the organization
  • The desire to work with the operations, technical and leadership teams to improve department and site performance
  • Demonstrate the ability to trouble shoot and perform under limited supervision
  • Strong resource planning and organization skills
  • SAP Knowledge is favorable
  • Previous maintenance experience
