Financial Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team in Victoria, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment within the finance division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and report obsolete or slow-moving stock items to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to investigate and resolve stock variances, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial records.
  • Achieve accurate recording of all inventory movements to maintain up-to-date financial reports.
  • Reconcile inventory balances with the general ledger to guarantee data integrity and compliance.
  • Support the preparation of accurate recipe costings for food and beverage items to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Review menu pricing and costing for profitability to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor adherence to internal cost control procedures to maintain financial discipline.
  • Assist in preparing monthly cost of sales reports to provide actionable insights.
