We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Safety Advisor to join our progressive Rail / Civil team to help build sustainable, long lasting infrastructure solutions across the state of WA.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing safety strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating and managing safety aspects related to project implementation, including site allowances and HSE monitoring.
  • Driving and championing a strong safety culture on site, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  • Supporting the delivery of strategic safety initiatives, including risk assessments and compliance activities.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Safety Management System and reviewing HSE documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Safety Advisor in a site-based role, with knowledge of relevant HS accreditations, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines and AS/ISO standards.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use a wide variety of software applications, including Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Ability to influence all levels of staff and managers, with sound communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Drivers Licence and White card (essential).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
