We are seeking Senior Technical Business Analysts to support the delivery of high-impact cyber security initiatives across business continuity management, disaster recovery, and zero trust.
As a seasoned technical business analyst with a passion for cyber security, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate technical and business requirements. You will translate business needs into functional specifications and support solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate technical and business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and support solution design.
- Analyse and improve existing cyber security processes.
- Assist project teams in delivering outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.
- Manage sensitive information and respond to competing priorities.
- Support testing and deployment activities to ensure effective solution delivery.
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of the agency across various forums.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst in cyber security.
- Experience working within Australian Government organisations.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and within teams.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust principles.
Additional Information:
- Maximum hours: 37.5 per week
- Labour Hire Licence: Required for ACT, VIC, and QLD
