KPMG's IT Audit division comprises a team of professionals focused on delivering exceptional IT External and Internal Audit services. Our mission is to assist clients in assessing their IT control frameworks effectively. We are on the lookout for IT Audit experts who are enthusiastic about technology risk and assurance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients to assess their technological landscape and address Cyber and Technology Risks.
As our team expands, we are eager to welcome outstanding individuals at the Manager level to join our national and/or interstate teams.
Your Role:
- Lead small to medium-sized teams of talented KPMG professionals, overseeing the planning and execution of IT Audit and IT Risk client projects.
- Assess the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle while providing performance management for IT audit, risk, and assurance personnel involved in assigned projects.
- Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports and presentations that include meaningful insights and recommendations for clients, while reviewing documented procedures and conclusions related to projects.
- Assist in proposal and business development efforts by identifying potential clients, fostering relationships with key executives, and developing/presenting proposals.
- Provide guidance and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project timelines, and performance management.

- Proven experience in internal and/or external audit, with additional expertise in IT risk management, attestation, project assurance, or advisory preferred.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (preferably in information systems, commerce, or a related field).
- A demonstrated history of client management, project delivery, and business development support.
- Proven supervisory and team management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills, and experience may include:
- Background in external/internal audit and/or risk (ideally with a professional services firm), including IT general controls, automated controls, regulatory compliance, service organization controls reporting, and/or IT risk management with a minimum of 5+ years' experience.
- Familiarity with global frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
- Strong knowledge of technology risk and controls.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and share expertise with team members to enhance overall capability.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Information Systems, Commerce, or similar), CA or CISA equivalent, or the ability to obtain a CA or CISA certification.
