Experienced Project Coordinator Wanted for Mining Operations

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Project Engineer to join our team at a Tier 1 Mining Asset Owner in the Northern Territory.
This is a client-side role, flying to a remote mine site on a 2/1 roster engagement. As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Construction Leads to plan and execute SMP works on sustaining capital projects across this complex mining operation.
About the Role- Support multiple projects and project managers concurrently
- Drive and coordinate projects from an engineering, cost, schedule, and quality perspective
- Manage engineering partners through concept and detailed design phase
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams during execution activities
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Site engineering experience within the mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors
- Proven project delivery experience and understanding of all project deliverables
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Stakeholder management and engagement
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
- Strong knowledge of SMP or materials handling projects
- Demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
