Job Opportunity

We are seeking Support Workers to provide services in the Deakin and surrounding areas. Your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients with activities of daily living and providing support services in their own home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance Client Choice and promote positive routines and activities that ensure they are meaningful to the client.
  • Ability to work shifts in set time blocks/pattern rostering.
  • Ability to drive client vehicles.
  • Proactive in supporting clients to enhance their life choices both at home and in the community.
  • Report changes in client's health, care plans or if additional services are needed.
  • Review regularly communications received via email, Support Worker Connect and other communication methods to ensure current knowledge of policies, procedures and activities.
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and the health and safety of others within the workplace.
  • Protect the rights and confidentiality of clients by ensuring the care provided maintains client dignity and privacy.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a minimum of Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent.
  • Current full drivers licence.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.
  • Reliable motor vehicle (including valid registration).
  • Smart mobile phone or device.
  • NDIS Clearance.
  • Police Clearance.
  • Access to the internet and experience using computer systems and applications.
  • Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.
