Our business is looking for a skilled Environmental Consultant to join our team. As an Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting the team in preparing inputs for air quality and greenhouse gas assessment reports.
About the RoleThis role involves working with clients and internal stakeholders to grow our offering in Air Quality. You will prepare proposals, budget estimates, project manage and inputs for tenders. Additionally, you will assist, supervise or conduct laboratory and field works including ambient air quality monitoring and emission source sampling.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare inputs for air quality and greenhouse gas assessment reports
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to grow our offering in Air Quality
- Prepare proposals, budget estimates, project manage and inputs for tenders
- Assist, supervise or conduct laboratory and field works including ambient air quality monitoring and emission source sampling
- Conduct air dispersion modelling and risk assessments
You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and love getting things done to a very high standard. You are self-driven and comfortable with processes, whilst still being an excellent people person with a high level of client service. Ideally you would possess:
- University qualifications (bachelor's degree or higher) in Environmental Science or a related field
- Up to 5 years' experience as an Air Quality specialist
- Consulting environment highly desirable
- Understanding of the local regulatory environment and best practice air quality assessments methods and analysis
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
