Trade Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trade Assistant to join our marine workshop team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with workshop, site and vessel general maintenance, including the operation of 20t Franna, forklift, light and medium rigid trucks.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a trade background, preferably in mechanical or civil construction, mining or similar, and hold a Medium Rigid truck licence and ideally a non-slewing crane ticket or a willingness to obtain this ticket.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to safety and be familiar with the safe usage of equipment.

This is a Monday to Friday (6am – 2.30pm) role with monthly rostered days off and opportunities for flexible work arrangements.

As a Trade Assistant, you will work on unique marine equipment and a sophisticated range of Marine vessels, further developing your skills with a company that invests in your development.
