Job Description

As a skilled professional in the field of floristry, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of our esteemed establishment. This encompasses:

  • Inventory management: overseeing stock levels, placing orders for supplies, and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Order fulfillment: processing customer orders efficiently and accurately, meeting tight deadlines when necessary.
  • Customer service: interacting with customers to understand their floral requirements and preferences, providing expert advice and recommendations to meet their expectations.

To excel in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential in ensuring the success of our shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing appearance throughout the premises.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity to ensure our shop remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in horticulture, floristry, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
