About the RoleThis full-time position involves the provision of comprehensive pharmacy services on a rotational basis, with rotations to various areas of the pharmacy department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hospital pharmacy and be eligible for general registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Assess, intervene, advocate, and consult with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality pharmacy services.
- Mentor and clinically supervise pharmacy students, interns, foundation residents, and other Grampians Health staff.
- Develop and implement education programs for pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Providing Comprehensive Pharmacy Services: Assess patient needs, intervene where necessary, advocate for optimal care, and consult with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Mentoring and Clinical Supervision: Support and guide pharmacy students, interns, foundation residents, and other Grampians Health staff in their professional development.
Education Programs: Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current general registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Prior experience in hospital pharmacy, preferably in oncology services.
