Job Title: Scientific Officer

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Scientific Officer within our organization.

  • Perform a variety of manual and automated diagnostic testing procedures.
  • Maintain all equipment in line with established protocols and ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in routine and audit-related Quality Assurance activities to guarantee compliance and excellence.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of new assays, driving innovation and progress.
  • Liaise with internal and/or external stakeholders regarding test results or referrals as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge, expertise, and skills within the respective discipline.
  • Sound understanding of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting principles.
  • Ability to identify, develop, and implement quality and service improvement activities in accordance with NATA/ISO accreditation/certification standards.
