Job Overview

As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the country's interests by advising on digital network integration efforts.

This position requires developing a deep understanding of land combat systems and their design considerations, as well as leading the development of the Land Combat System Design within technical specialisation.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in areas such as Science, Engineering, or IT. Strong networking and C4 software skills are essential, along with knowledge of tactical data links, enterprise architecture, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a fundamental understanding of the land combat system and its design considerations
  • Leading the development of the Land Combat System Design within technical specialisation
  • Recording and sharing information regarding engagements to enable a collaborative approach across SMEs and integration/technical SME staff

Requirements:

Strong networking and C4 software skills are essential, along with knowledge of tactical data links, enterprise architecture, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in areas such as Science, Engineering, or IT.
