Factory Hand Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Factory Hand/Assembly Worker at our manufacturing facility.

  • Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for following work instructions for assembly of electronic devices from PCBA, soldering and mechanical structure assembly. Additionally, they will assist with handling and processing of sheet plastic material using manual and automatic machinery, select components from pick lists and interpret work instructions, hand solder connectors and wire looms, use PC software to upgrade and configure electronic devices, and confidently operate hand and power tools.

They will also receive training on all other fixed plant equipment as necessary and perform tasks such as assembly, disassembly, and packing of small to large products while maintaining a high level of organization and tidiness in the workplace.

Requirements
  • Proven reliability and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness to work on feet for extended periods and good computer literacy skills.
  • Experience with hand and power tools and attention to fine detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills and a positive attitude with a great work ethic.
