Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Australia.



Job Description

This role offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work with various stakeholders and teams across the Amazon organization. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, both internally and externally.



You will join a high-performing, learning-oriented, and analytical team motivated to work hard, have fun, and make history. Your responsibilities will include:




  • Owning relationships with our most strategic partners, including some of Australia's most innovative businesses, and driving them to improve their customer experience and Amazon strategy.
  • Expanding product selection and improving product availability.
  • Conducting category analytics and driving overall improvements to the Amazon Australia store.
  • Managing program management and program adoption.
  • Consulting top partners on their Amazon strategy, driving program adoption across Amazon tools and services such as Fulfilment by Amazon and Amazon Advertising.
  • Working closely with leadership on planning and business strategy, completing in-depth analysis into customer trends.
  • Analysing industry and Amazon internal data to understand the competitive landscape across multiple categories and identify customer trends.
  • Conducting financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Learning and becoming a subject matter expert on Amazon Seller Central, including tools such as Sponsored Advertising, Brand Builder, and Promotions.
  • Collaborating with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service, and other key internal Amazon stakeholders.


About You

We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level, managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting roles, and positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
