About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our Community Rehabilitation team at Monash Health. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide best practice patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual and group-based work in both centre and home settings
  • Working under the delegation of Allied Health Professionals
  • Being a vital part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for clients

This is a part-time, ongoing position working at the Pakenham and Cranbourne sites. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to the development of our Community Rehabilitation service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent
  • A driver's license
  • Preferably greater than 2-4 years of AHA experience with some hospital/community experience (Grade 3)
  • A positive approach
  • Ability to work independently
  • Dedicated to safe best practice and quality care
  • You are an advocate of Monash Health's Strategic Guiding Principles
