About the Role

This part-time opportunity (3 days a week) offers a unique chance to work alongside the Head of People and Culture, driving strategic initiatives and projects that align with the organization's goals. As a Strategic HR Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for delivering a range of human resources and talent initiatives, including end-to-end recruitment, women in finance initiatives, psychometric reporting, visa management, training and development, performance appraisals, engagement survey coordination, and talent metrics reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive for delivering best practices in Human Resources and Talent Management, with a focus on empowering employees and driving long-term value through talent development and effective people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job design and evaluation to drafting engaging ads and conducting interviews.
  • Support the scholarship program at Australian universities by participating in the selection process, managing alumni, and organizing networking events.
  • Interpret psychometric assessments and prepare tailored interview questions for hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with immigration lawyers and manage documentation for visa-related matters.
  • Partner with teams to identify learning needs and recommend suitable training options.
  • Facilitate the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to both employees and managers.
  • Manage the annual engagement survey, from distribution to analysis and implementation of results.
  • Assist in compiling diversity and talent metrics for board reporting.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Business, or Human Resources (postgraduate qualification in Organisational Psychology is a plus).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Awards.
  • Proficiency in managing grievances and performance issues.
  • A 'can-do' spirit and enthusiasm for your work.
What We Offer
