A talented leader is required to oversee a dynamic team of staff who manage workers compensation claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting safe, timely, and durable return to work outcomes for injured workers.
About this opportunity:- Lead a team of Claims and Specialist personnel with varying levels of experience within the workers compensation space;
- Contribute to shaping a culture of high people engagement, recognising diversity and increasing satisfaction levels;
- Participate in workforce planning and recruitment activities;
- Mentor your team and provide coaching and support to ensure they reach their full potential;
- Demonstrated experience in team management/leadership, within a high-volume and fast-paced environment;
- Knowledge of general business practices and cost effective business activities;
- Experience in managing performance through qualitative and quantitative metrics;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
- A strategic mindset and approach to work;
- A strong sense of team and collaboration;
