Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Exterior Cladding Specialist to join our team at Jobs360. As a key member of our glazing team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed shop drawings for commercial glazing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of commercial glazing systems and their components.
  • Create accurate and detailed shop drawings for glazing systems, including general notes, window schedules, and sectional details.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in glazing technology.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in shop drawing commercial glazing systems.
  • Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD D or later.
  • Competent in current Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams) and PDF-XChange Editor (or similar software).
  • Able to extract relevant specifics from architectural and structural drawings.
  • Adept in communicating clearly and accurately with other team members.
  • Capable of following standard written drawing procedures and utilizing standard detail libraries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of glazing specifications, schedules, and reports.
  • Working experience of multiple or various glazing systems.
  • Experience in preparing fabrication drawings.
  • Knowledge of glazing system performances - thermal, acoustic, and water penetration.
  • Familiar with 3D AutoCAD, Solidworks, or SketchUp.
