**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our takeaway team as a Junior Food Service Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our team with daily tasks, including food preparation, packaging, and customer service.

  • Support the takeaway team with food preparation, including cooking, packing, and labeling orders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient takeaway operation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Food Preparation:
    • Cook and prepare food according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
    • Pack and label orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Customer Service:
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
    • Provide information about menu items, promotions, and other relevant topics.
  • Store Maintenance:
    • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
    • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management team.

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced takeaway environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for long periods.
