About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced High Voltage Technician to join our team at AGL's Wattle Point Wind Farm. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of our high voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Technicians: Assist site service technicians in performing scheduled wind turbine maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
  • Execute Isolations and Switching: Prepare and execute isolations, switching operations, and other work management controls to ensure safe and reliable work.
  • Risk Management: Participate in shift start toolboxes, hazard identification, and proactive risk management activities.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Trade qualification along with HV Certification.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Experience with HV/LV hydraulics and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with Permitting and LOTO (Lock-Out Tag-Out).
  • An understanding of the use, operation and maintenance of wind farms is advantageous, however not essential.
  • Working at heights certifications are highly regarded.
