We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance our service technicians' expertise through effective training and development programs.

This role is responsible for assessing the development needs of our service technicians and implementing training programs across all locations. The successful candidate will create instructional materials for equipment operation and repair, ensuring that training aligns with quality, health and safety, and performance by recording, monitoring, and integrating feedback.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on technician development paths and schedules
  • Demonstrate expertise as a certified instructor
  • Develop high-quality educational curriculum for effective equipment operation and repair
  • Identify resources for creating classroom, hands-on, and online training courses
  • Evaluate student competence accurately
  • Maintain up-to-date training materials, including course outlines
  • Schedule training with service managers and supervisors
  • Communicate training schedules and course information clearly
  • Document and report student evaluation scores and attendance
  • Prepare and distribute certificates of completion
  • Liaise with external agencies on behalf of our organization

The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, preferably with a heavy-duty certification, along with experience in training and instructional delivery. Additional requirements include:

  • Certified instructor status or willingness to obtain it
  • Strong mechanical, analytical, technical, and instructional design skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to meet the training needs of various locations
