Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Venue Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including managing a front-of-house team, implementing training programs, and driving profitability.

They will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with guests, regular clientele, and corporate partners, as well as delivering exceptional customer service and managing private events/functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and motivating a front-of-house team of up to 25 staff.
  • Implementing and growing the venue's standards of excellence through innovative and comprehensive training.
  • Driving profitability while adhering to budget guidelines.
  • Delivering exceptional dining experiences and managing private events/functions.
  • Hiring, training, and developing your team to ensure a consistent high standard of service.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing premium restaurant operations, strong wine knowledge, commercial acumen, and a warm, approachable, and professional personality that connects with regular guests.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong wine knowledge, including both Australian and international varieties.
  • Commercial acumen and an understanding of how to operate a profitable venue.
