About the Role

We're seeking an experienced engineer who can drive scalable infrastructure solutions for product development teams and deliver secure, high-performance network infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Predict and communicate potential roadblocks, delays, and cost implications to stakeholders, proactively seeking resolutions.
  • Monitor resource utilization for supported services within AWS accounts and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to cross-functional decision-making aligned with Product Development objectives.
  • Evaluate commitments and deliver high-quality work within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for supported services, providing timely incident response and resolution.
Key Technical Duties:
  • Sustain and manage Skedulo's infrastructural setup from Development to Production.
  • Provide informed input to technical discussions and decisions impacting engineering solutions.
  • Consult and assist with implementation projects across PD, offering infrastructure expertise and guidance.
  • Contribute to observability efforts by implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Deliver infrastructure enhancements with technical support.
  • Collaborate in incident response, recovery, review, and remediation.
Communication and Leadership Expectations:
  • Communicate effectively with your squad on both technical and non-technical matters.
  • Collaborate with your team to resolve blockers and complete tasks.
Leadership Qualities:
  • Exemplify Skedulo and PD values by demonstrating integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Act as a technical leader within the team, driving technical discussions and decisions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure processes and tools.

Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of cloud experience (AWS preferred).
